METALLICA frontman James Hetfield will be on hand at Yankee Stadium tonight (June 24) for the the kick-off of the second round of the Subway Series (New York Mets vs. New York Yankees). The Yankees have reportedly arranged for Hetfield to meet with Yankees closer Mariano Rivera, who enters games with "Enter Sandman", a METALLICA hit, playing on the loudspeakers.

Hetfield is a friend of New York Yankees pitcher Randy Johnson, and Johnson warms up to a compilation of music that Hetfield assembled for him.
