We have discovered a new way of showing Metallica to the world. To the
numerous skeptics in the classical music world, the people who usually
label Heavy Metal as a "trashy music" we would like to present you with
a different way of enjoying Metallica's beautiful music.
We would like to present you Viktoriya Yermolyeva (also known as vika), an amazing piano player who has also a passion for Metallica. She has
covered a lot of Metallica music on Piano, which to us is quite
impressive. The sensation we get when listening to well known &
loved Metallica songs, interpreted by her on Piano is something quite
impressive.
Take a look at some of her videos (available on youtube )
We just want to say: Way to go vika. Rock On!!!

Guitar Hero special guests
The band has confirmed that “Guitar Hero: Metallica” will include two very special guests: Lemmy from Motorhead and King Diamond.
“So hey, when we were thinking about this whole Guitar Hero thing, we thought we'd see if we could drag in some of our close friends into the game, too. Not only can you play as us, but we're happy to tell you that you can also play as our pal Lemmy from Motorhead!”
Lemmy says, "It's great to be in Guitar Hero with all these famous people and I'm really pleased to be in it with Metallica...but James is still taller than me."
"our other close friend is none other than King Diamond! King says: "It's been absolutely amazing to be a part of this Guitar Hero experience. It was quite a trip to re-record the song 'Evil' almost 25 years after the original recording took place.
The end result with four out of the five original musicians turned out so much better than I would ever have hoped for. Seeing my animated character take form was totally eerie in a very good way. It's so strange to see yourself animated in such perfect detail - cross bone microphone, Eye necklace and all. This game looks and sounds METAL all the way. HORNS UP!!!"

iTunes Digital Box
|
"Well it doesn't really come in a box, but starting on March 31 our entire discography will be available on iTunes as a "digital box set" so that for one price, you can download the entire catalog. What exactly does "entire catalog mean?" you ask . . . that would be 163 tracks including all the studio albums from Kill 'Em All up through Death Magnetic, S&M, Some Kind of Monster, the two tracks from Live From Live Earth, and "I Disappear" from the Mission Impossible 2 soundtrack. Our little set here also includes the live tracks that were released as part of the album versions on iTunes: "The Four Horsemen," "Whiplash," "For Whom The Bell Tolls," "Creeping Death," "Battery," "The Thing That Should Not Be," "One," and "...And Justice For All."
iTunes will be the only place you can find the digital box set starting March 31, with your friendly other sites that you can download music from coming on board April 28."
