European Vacation 2008 1st Leg Tour Dates
Metallica confirmed the last gig of the 1st European leg for their upcoming tour to take place between May 28th through June 8th.

5/31/08 Getafe, Spain Getafe Electric Weekend Festival
6/03/08 Prague, Czech Republic Slavia Stadium
6/05/08 Lisbon, Portugal Rock In Rio Festival
6/07/08 Nurburgring, Germany Rock Am Ring Festival
6/08/08 Nurnberg, Germany Rock Im Park Festival

And The Nominees Are...
|
The nominations for the 50th Annual Grammy Awards were announced today, and Metallica received a nomination.
The song "The Ecstasy Of Gold" is nominated in the Best Rock Instrumental Performance (For solo, duo, group or collaborative performances, without vocals. Includes Rock, Hard Rock and Metal. Singles or Tracks only.) Other nominees are Rush, Joe Satriani, Bruce Springsteen, and Steve Vai.
The 50th Annual Grammy Awards will be held on Sunday, Feburary 10th 2008 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
